communications consultancy.
Senior internal and change communications support for organisations and founders.
I’m Helen Albon, Co-Founder and Director of JUST ROCK HOLDINGS LTD. and communications leader, strategist and senior adviser.
I help organisations when they’re starting something, explaining something or changing something - particularly when the stakes are high, communication matters, and an experienced outside perspective would help.
I’ve spent more than 26 years advising leaders through change and transformation and everything in between, and I know how different things can look depending on where you’re standing.

Listening
When you’re trying to make something happen, like a change, a new direction or an idea that needs to become real, the temptation is to start the communications with what you’re going to say.
I start with people.
What do they already know? What will this look like from where they’re standing? What are you missing? What could they tell you that might make the thing better?
Then I work out what really needs to be said - or done.
Building something?
I work with founders too.
Often the idea isn’t the problem. It’s getting what’s in your head into a form other people can understand.
I help you step outside it, find what really matters and get clear about what you’re building, why it matters and how to talk about it.
I’m interested - what happens next?
We’ll start a conversation about what you’re trying to do and where you’re stuck.
Then I’ll suggest what would actually be useful, and how much of my time I think it needs.
That might be a day, or a few days. Or longer if you need me.
I can work alongside you and your team, or take something away and get it done.
“I create the space to listen properly, question assumptions, look at things from the other side, notice what’s being said and work out what really matters.
Then I help you communicate it”.
